CLAY CONVERSATIONS
"Often the hands will solve a mustery that the intellect has struggled with in vain" ~ Carl Jung
Clay conversations are one-off therapeutic sessions that last for an hour and a quarter (75 minutes). They can be on a one to one basis, couples - partners, friends, parent and child (over the age of 11), or small groups.
Conversations are run here in the office, in a safe, non-judgemental space. There is no fixed agenda and you can come with a specific thing you'd like to talk about or simply to have some time for you. Sometimes the thought of weekly counselling sessions can be quite a scary perspective or doesn't particularly meet our needs so these conversations can bridge the gap. Some of the things clay conversations can help with are:
-
finding connection
-
discussing something personal that you don't want to worry a loved one with
-
Exploring a decision you need to make
-
time to relax and reflect
-
discuss difficulties in a relationship
-
work through worries you might have about a family member or friend
-
talk through anxieties that are affecting your day to day life
-
talk about loved ones you may have lost
-
work through an issue at work you're finding difficult
-
talk about a decision a loved one might have made that you don't understand
...the list is endless!
The cost of these one-off sessions for one to ones is £90 and for couples is £110. For groups, please call us so we can chat about what you are looking for and for how many. If you think this might be helpful then please get in contact with us for more information.
If clay really isn't your thing then these can also be adapted to use a different creative medium so do let us know. We do also offer single sessions where you can simply sit and talk if this feels easier.
